Grand Sire Archon Cornell Leverette Moore, Grand Grammateus Peyton Williams, Jr., and Grand Grapter Khephra Burns will join Grand Sire Archon-Elect Robert L. Harris in New York on April 12 for the annual dinner of the African American Experience Fund (AAEF) of the National Parks Foundation at the Rainbow Room. This year the Fund will honor the Little Rock Nine who integrated Central High School in 1957. Two of the Little Rock Nine are members of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity – Archon Terry Roberts of Gamma Zeta Boulé (Pasadena, California) and Archon Ernie Green, Sire Archon of Epsilon Boulé (Washington, D.C.). Archon Vernon Jordan will be the keynote speaker.

Grand Sire Archon Elect Harris is a member of the board of trustees of the AAEF. Archon Barry Williams of Beta Upsilon (San Francisco) is chairman of the board of AAEF. Other trustees who are members of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity are Archons Jim Cole, Tom Goss, George Knox, Milton Wilkins, Jr., and Rodney Slater.

The AAEF 2006 honoree was former United States Secretary of State Colin Powell.
