Archon Marty Dunn, of Alpha Delta, Joins Dinsmore & Shohl LLP

CINCINATI, OH -- Marty Dunn, a standout in the legal community and a well-known figure for his commitment to Greater Cincinnati, has joined Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Dunn was a partner in the Cincinnati office of Baker Hostetler. He will practice as a partner in the Corporate Department, working from the firm's Cincinnati office.

Earlier in his career, Dunn had the distinction of serving as Partner-in-Charge of the Cincinnati office of a statewide law firm, which made him the first African-American managing partner of a law firm in Cincinnati. Dunn has practiced law for the past 23 years and has focused his practice on representing clients in a wide array of business financing and commercial real estate transactions. He is a leader in fostering economic development through entrepreneurial alliances involving for-profit, non-profit and governmental entities. Dunn has been selected for numerous awards including being listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® and Ohio Super Lawyers®.

Dunn graduated from Northwestern University and received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Dunn is involved with several professional and civic organizations in Cincinnati including serving on the Board of Directors for Downtown Cincinnati Inc. and the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Museum Center. He is a former trustee of United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority.
