Archon Gloster Current Named to Assist CEO

July 25, 2007 – Gloster Current (Beta Alpha Boulé), currently vice president – policyowner services, has been named to the newly created role of vice president – corporate affairs and assistant to the chief executive officer (CEO). Current will report directly to Ed Zore, president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.

The continuing demands for Board of Trustee oversight resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Zore’s growing commitments in the community and industry also drive the need for the new role that Current will fill.

Current will assume responsibility for Board of Trustee and Policyowner Examining Committee recruiting and relations. In addition, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation and community relations division led by Gil Llanas, director – community relations, will also report to Current.
